Ashim Hardware is a startup retail hardware business focused on supplying quality construction materials and essential building accessories to contractors, fundis, and homeowners. We deal in key building inputs such as doors and door accessories, MDF boards, lippings, locks, and interior finishing materials that support both small and large-scale construction projects. The business was started in in February this year to address the gap between affordable, quality hardware supplies and reliable access for local builders. Since then, we have positioned ourselves as a trusted supplier within our community, supporting both individual builders and ongoing construction projects. Our goal is not just to sell hardware, but to become a dependable construction support partner—offering affordable materials, improving supply access for fundis and contractors, and helping reduce project delays caused by material shortages. With grant support, Ashim Hardware aims to expand stock capacity, improve supply chain efficiency, and strengthen outreach to construction professionals. This will enable us to serve more clients, stabilize pricing, and contribute to local employment and construction growth. Ultimately, we want to grow from a small hardware shop into a reliable construction solutions hub that supports housing development and small contractor success in our region.
